TinyURL is great.  Especially if you love unicycles. (What is he talking about?)

Or you can put the service to good use and apply a TinyURL to.....oh, I don't know.....any link from Amazon, Google Maps, eBay, and on and on.  Ecommerce intensive sites tend to have nasty URL strings.  Not very conducive to passing around via email or in documents...
